The Chief

We were so happy to once again be able to visit the church in Jamestown, ND. The presence of the Lord was so refreshing and we thoroughly enjoyed good fellowship with the Pastor Mike and Sister Paula Woods, their family and the kind saints. This is a great church. We heard reports of healings from our 2012 visit to Jamestown. Most significantly, several people were healed of asthma. Five-year-old Bryson (pictured above) was baptized in Jesus' name.

One notable event from our recent trip to Jamestown: After one of the services, a young man felt impressed to give Bill one of his electric guitars. Cedric has a heart towards God. Receiving his gift was a humbling experience and we know God will bless him for his love for the Kingdom. This summer, Bill has been completing several songs that he has written through the years. We hope to be able to put out a CD of these songs sometime soon.

Sunday afternoon, we went up to Carrington for a service in the Chieftain Motel. The halls and rooms are decorated with all things Native American. The presence of the Lord swept into that hotel room and blessed us with a wonderful and memorable afternoon. The Chief of all chiefs was there!

Brother and Sister David Walters came from Harvey for the service and we were blessed to see them again. They are pioneers of Pentecost in North Dakota. It would probably be difficult to ascertain how many people now know Jesus as a direct and indirect result of their labor of love and teaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are true heroes of the faith.
