When
it comes to financial contributions to the Kingdom, live and give with an open
hand. When you freely give with an open hand, as blessings flow from you, your
hand will be open to receive. While we should not give with the intention of
receiving in return, the natural principle dictates that we will be blessed.
People
that are stingy and give reservedly and grudgingly rob themselves of blessings
because they are giving with a fist, a closed hand; therefore, they cannot
receive. Having an open hand policy liberates us from the power of money in our
lives. It all belongs to God anyway, so why not let if flow freely from our
hands into His Kingdom?
