The Beauty of the Lord

This past week was blessed of the Lord. Every service at the Lakeland United Pentecostal Church in Alexandria, Minnesota was unique, as the Lord ministered to a variety of needs. God is the ultimate multi-tasker. He can do a lot of things at one time...and He does them all well!

Saturday, we met with a good group of people from the church to distribute flyers in neighborhoods and parking lots. Sunday night, several people came to church as a direct result of receiving a flyer.

We rejoice for two that received the Holy Ghost. Sunday morning, Rubi Garcia (left), a beautiful and sweet young lady received the Holy Ghost and was also baptized in Jesus' name. A few minutes after she came up out of the water, her face was glowing.

The miracle of salvation never gets old to me. No matter how many people I see experience the New Birth, it is always fresh and beautiful.

The gardening pictures were taken at the Feilers' lovely lakeside home. Renee Feiler is quite the gardener. Her flowers, herbs, and vegetables create a photographer's paradise!
