This past week, we took in the Minnesota District Camp Meeting. My parents were able to drive up for the camp, and we enjoyed being in the meetings with them. Bill and Dad played a few games of chess, of course, but we also enjoyed a good Scrabble game, a long walk to the river, and a canoe ride in the little lake here on the camp property.
While at the camp, a lady from the Duluth church brought her baby to us. This time last year, she was really concerned and a little fearful. She'd had two confirmed miscarriages and two unconfirmed miscarriages. We and others prayed with her and encouraged her faith. She said that her new healthy baby was a miracle!
We heard a similar story at the Bloomington church this past Sunday night. Bill had prayed for a lady there about a year ago as well. She now holds her miracle baby.
Sunday morning, we ministered in the church on the west side of Minneapolis, pastored by David Kent. Three people received the gift of the Holy Ghost - the greatest miracle of all...more new babies born into the Kingdom of God.
