In a little over 24 hours, we switched our location from Anamosa/Cedar Rapids (Iowa) to Grand Rapids (Minnesota). Last night we boondocked at a rest area. Boondocking is an RV term that refers to dry camping: no water or electricity. (Interpretation: Forget about taking a shower and prepare for a hot night without air conditioning!) One good thing about being deprived of something so simple - like a shower - it that I appreciate it immensely when I finally get to take one!!
.
Today, our setup took longer than usual. We had a little trouble getting the RV level. Then, we blew a fuse. Bill called NuWa (the manufacturer of our RV) to find out where the fuse box is located. (Because we have only had this RV about three weeks, we are still figuring out where things are and how things work.) Bill is discovering that NuWa has great customer service skills. He has called the company two or three times for advice and he says that everyone he talks to is very kind. These days, that is worth a lot.

But here we are and we are excited about the upcoming meetings here. When we were here last Fall, God did some wonderful things in this church. Pastor Ron Lichtle and his wife Carma have scheduled meetings for Thursday night through Sunday night. This is a terrific couple. They love God and are doing a great work here in Grand Rapids. We appreciate those of you who will say a prayer for these meetings. We want God to minister to and strengthen this church and add many souls to the kingdom. I will keep you informed of the results.
