Good Advice

Mark Twain was from Missouri, my home state. Inarguably, he was sometimes scathingly sarcastic and relentlessly opinionated, but he was indisputably not boring. Occasionally, I come across one of his quotes that strikes me as singularly inspiring and so well-stated that is bears repeating. Ponder this one:

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore.
Dream.
Discover."
