When life gets tough, why do some people turn away from God while others turn toward Him?
Simply, because some choose to view God as the source of their pain, while others see Him as their Healer.
Some people blame God for their problems. Others trust that God will work everything together for their good.
Some people consider the hurts they suffer in life a liability, because their pain reveals their own weakness. Others realize that their hurts keep them leaning on God for His strength.
I sincerely hope and pray that each person reading this will realize that God is on your side, during every hilltop and every valley, in times of crisis and in times of calm. Don't turn away from God when you are confused and hurting; rather, turn toward Him.
