My faith does not rest in the goodness of people, but in the goodness of God. People will fail and when they do, if I have more faith in them than I do in God, I will be disappointed. But God will never disappoint me.
When our ultimate faith rests in God, rather than in people, we will have constant peace and contentment, whether people are good or bad.
"And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God" (Mark 11:22).
