Ma'a Salaama

The last week has been highly emotional for me. As a friend of ours said last night, "It is a lot easier to say Ahlan wa Sahlan…" That is the traditional Arab greeting. It means "Welcome." It is a time of mixed thoughts and feelings…and tears. I will miss those we have worked with and become friends with. It IS hard to say "Goodbye," but say goodbye we must. We are looking forward to being back in America, but there are some things about Jordan we will certainly miss, most of all, the people we have grown to love.
