Be Happy

Yesterday afternoon, we drove from Mesa, where our RV is parked, to Sun City, to see Nori (Bill's niece), Trevor (Nori's friend), and Wayne (a family friend). Somewhere near Scottsdale, five lanes of traffic slowed to a crawl as the result of a bad accident ahead. As often happens during traffic jams, people were getting upset and two young ladies must have noticed their agitation. They made the sign you see above and the girl in the passenger seat held it up through the opening of the sun roof. We thought it was funny. We honked and it caught on. Even a sober-looking cowboy in a big pickup truck smiled briefly and tapped his horn.

The traffic jam also enabled us to take pictures of saguaro cacti. This cactus is the official wildflower of Arizona.

The moral of the story? Always carry a camera with you. You never know when a great photo-op might come along.
