Sunday night, after our final service at Calvary Tabernacle, I think most everyone was tired, but it was a great kind of tired. We met together 10 times in 14 days and each time was wonderful, as the Spirit of the Lord responded to our prayers and worship in a beautiful way.
This week, Brianne and Duane received the Holy Ghost. Much of the ministry - encouraging and strengthening words - was for the church, which I found interesting. Often, the Lord ministers to the needs of the body first, then there is a harvest of souls. In this case, it was reverse. Most of the visitors came the first week. It is always interesting to watch God at work. Whatever He does is perfect!
We rejoice with the seven that received the Holy Ghost and the three who were baptized in the precious and powerful name of Jesus these past two weeks and the many - including us! - who were encouraged and uplifted by the Word and Spirit of God.
