Last night we went to Red Wing, Minnesota, the home of Red Wing Shoes. The downtown area of Red Wing is lovely. Its blocks are perfectly configured and the historic buildings are beautifully maintained.
The church meets in a group of rooms that are street level, in an 1873 building that used to be a deli. The main room is charming. The church restored the wood floors to their original look and the high textured tin ceiling is striking. It is one of the most unique church facilities I have ever visited.
We enjoyed the evening immensely. Once again, God did what He does so well: As His Spirit moved among us, he blessed many people and two were filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost. Pastor Hanson and his wife with the infectious laugh are fine people...the perfect fit for the Red Wing community!
